Mycopunk X11-B: Enemy Data and Spawn Locations

X11-B is the moonlet of New Atlas, added in 1.0 as the hardest region in the game: one region called Moonscape, threat level 8 and above, and a minimum player level of 25. It is where the Snowball Grenade comes from and where the Ground Zero achievement chain ends.

Moonscape is the only region on the moonlet, and unlike the six New Atlas regions it is not used for weekly overtime assignments. Its purpose in the design, per the developers, was to give long-running saves something that still pushes back.

That is the full normal-mission roster minus the story missions and the special assignments. X11-B runs the same objectives as New Atlas at threat 8+, which means the same mission you cleared at threat 3 is now spawning overclocked abominations.

Enemies on X11-B

X11-B does not have an exclusive enemy list. It uses the abomination and brute pools with the highest overclock weighting, plus the Oxythane-tagged ranged units (Missile Pod Grunt, Missilehead, Devastator) in its harder mission variants.

The enemy that defines the region is the Abomination: 2.2× shell health, three to six arms depending on party size, and a 35% hit-stun resistance. At threat 8 the same enemy that took 30 seconds at threat 4 takes several minutes.

What X11-B unlocks

  • Snowball Grenade — the cryo throwable, unlocked from the region
  • Ground Zero achievement — tied to moonlet content, which in turn unlocks the Globbler
  • X11-B achievement — complete a mission on the moonlet

The Snowball is the mechanical prize: it flies straight and detonates on the second press, unlike the arcing grenades, and its cryo status is the only control element in the game.

Should you go at level 25?

The minimum is 25 and the region is hazardous, which in practice means the drop pod takes damage and the environment hurts. Most players arrive with a 7×6 grid, at least one Exotic per weapon, and a full set of elemental grenades.
